I recently stayed at a hotel in Southbank for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location was incredibly convenient, with plenty of restaurants and transportation options within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were all very nice, helpful, polite, and professional. The single beds were extremely comfortable, and the hot shower was great. I also appreciated the option for green cleaning and the kitchenette in the room. The hotel provided daily replenishment of coffee and toiletries, and the general cleanliness of the facility was impressive.

The location of this hotel was unbeatable! We were able to easily walk to all the major cultural locations in the area, making it very convenient for our romantic escape. the staff were friendly and cute, which added to the overall positive experience.

We did find that the hotel rooms were a bit tired and could use some updating. The bathroom cleanliness was not up to our expectations, with showers needing some cleaning and areas behind doors being neglected.

Although the hotel provided various amenities, the lack of free wifi was an inconvenience in today's world where wifi is nearly a necessity in hotels.

Great location, steps away from Southbank promenade, Crown Casino, Federation Square, Arts Precinct, and Marvel Stadium. Buffet breakfast impressive, enjoyed it daily. Upsized room with 2 double beds on first night, clean and comfortable with 2 singles on second night. Helpful staff, clean and tidy, comfortable beds with ample pillows. Convenient access to CBD and restaurants, taxis readily available.

Conveniently situated near Southbank eateries, with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Easy access to CBD, trains and trams. Ideal location for exploring the Yarra River and its surroundings. Good value for money and no hassle for accommodating a third person in the room. Close to nearby cafes for delicious breakfast options.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place. The location was perfect, being in a great area right near the Southbank restaurants. It was an ideal location without the hustle and bustle of being in the city center. We were able to easily explore the nearby attractions and go for a leisurely walk along Southbank. The staff at the reception desk provided the best service they could, even when dealing with a group of American tourists who caused some chaos. They handled the situation in a professional manner and ensured that our stay was not affected.

For our two-night stay, Mercure Southbank was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and our room had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the price was great for such a central location. The hotel is also conveniently located near Wilson's carpark.

Cleanliness was excellent and the hotel facilities were great. The parking was affordable and the location was perfect, close to everything this city has to offer.

It was close to the city centre and right near Southbank restaurants, making it an ideal location without the hustle & bustle of being in the City centre. Secondly, the staff at the reception desk provided the best service they could. They were professional even when dealing with difficult customers. Lastly, the amenities provided in the room such as heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, flat-screen TV.

If you are a family, I would recommend this hotel.

The shower water pressure was inconsistent and sometimes there was a lack of hot water.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. We enjoyed walking to Federation Square, museums, gardens, and the Shrine of Remembrance. There were also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room, although compact, was clean and had everything we needed. We booked a family room with a queen bed and two twin beds, which suited our needs.

The location was perfect for our needs and the room was clean and adequate for the price.
